So I found some very cheap iPhone 5C for like £150 on Ebay, but it says "Please read carefully iPhone is activation locked" is there anyway to bypass this? Lmao. I don't know if I should buy it or not. Thanks I don't even know if this is the right place to put the post in, if it isn't may you please move it :p

According to apple if an iphone has activation lock then if you don't have the password, you won't be able to:
a) turn off Find My Iphone
b) sign out of iCloud on the phone
c) erase and reactivate the phone

Get them to fully reset the iphone, that way the activation lock will be turned off.

They probably forgot the password themselves, it's unlocked so I'm 100% they haven't stole it.

If you bypassed it like they did from the video, it would still be pretty useless, because none of the apps would work and you'd have to redo it every time just to get to the home screen.

What I would do is call up an apple store close to you and ask them if they would be able to reset the activation lock if you brought the phone in. If they say yes, then I'd go ahead and buy it.

I'm sure that'd work if you can get to the settings. You might as well buy it, because even if none of that works I'm sure apple will be able to help, and even if they can't you could resell it.

There is a way to bypass it i am 100% sure. Same thing happened to me my friend did that for me for just $100.

I have an Andriod, a Samsung Galaxy S4 I'm not quite liking it. I'm hoping to buy it but what happens if they guy blocks the IMEI? :O
