We are currently in a mid upgrade stage. I'm waiting on 1.8 Minecraft to have a 3rd party server but in the meantime you can play on the vanilla 1.8 server, smokinminecraft.org (currently offline for maintenance)

I just finished the maintenance, the server should be up for a while (Auto reboots once a day at 4 AM EST)
