How to find diamonds

To find diamonds go as deep as you can go then go mine yourself 16 blocks higher from bottom on that layer theres should be 50% of diamonds .
Remember to use iron or better pickaxe when mining diamonds or you wont get them.
Good luck finding them i don't know if i'm just lucky but i find them pretty easily.

Iron+, but I just find enough diamonds that I can use diamond tools all the time and stay ahead. =)

yes atleast iron pickaxe didn't mean that you couldn't get it with better ones.

its not 50% of diamonds... its just that there are more around layer 12-20 or something.

I just go to bottom and make branches out with multiple floors, I've found a lot of redstone so far but i need some more diamond, I guess I'll go a bit further up

^ branch mining is best, but not on the bottom floors. I normally start at 11/12 and go up to like 20, as that's above lava and in the layers where most diamond veins are located.

I'm good at mining through lava so I just go from 3-20, lol.

What ive done is mined down to the lava lake level, found a lava lake system and excavated 2 blocks wide around the edges of every lake i find. It's very very fast for finding diamonds, and it looks really epic once you've dug out loads of lava lakes

*has done this with him before* his method works, or it was an uber fluke which i dont think it was.

i do this too learned it from nightmarerh
