Mole Killing Guide

This Is a Guide on The Best Ways to kill the Giant Mole with profit.

Summary: The Giant Mole is Located in Falador park, where you can dig on a mole hill and go into a network of caves, where the Giant Mole lives. He Will not attack you, unless you attack him. The most frustrating thing about him is that he teleports when he gets to low health, so you have to constantly serch for him. His common drop are Mole Skins and Mole Claws, which are worth 7-8k each and he drops a max of 4-2 of them each kill. You can also get Elite Clue Scrolls from him. Some other Valuable thing he drops are: 100 Yew Logs (40-50k), half keys, and lots of charms. You can make about 500k-1.5m an hour, maybe more if your really fast.

Method 1- The Godsword Method
-This method is basically the poor people way

Requirements-A Godsword ( Bought or borrowed, the better the faster )
-Strength Amulet ( Reccomended) Or any Strength boosting amulet.
-Any other Strength Boosting items you want to wear
-Level 43 prayer ( To use protect from melee )
-Super attack and strength
-2 prayer flasks or 3 prayer potions
-A couple sharks for emergencys
-Cannon and cannonballs ( Optional but speeds it up alot )
-Decent stats
-Falador Tele tabs
-No defensive armour needed
-1-3 lanters ( Lanters, not candels! The more the brighter )
-A spade (If not on your tool belt)
-A dragon dagger p++ is suggested, as the mole runs around alot, and can be frustrating, so you can be doing damage while hes running around
-Ability to Summon “Spirit Terror Bird” (Optional)

Inventory should be...
-2 Sharks
-2 prayer flasks/3 prayer pots
-A spade
-1-3 Lanters
-Super set
-Cannon and cannonballs ( Optional )
-dragon dagger p++ ( Optional )
Technique
-Wait for him in the center of the cave, with cannon placed there if you have it. When you attack him, make sure you have protect from melee on and you super potions active. I recommend redosing every 2-3 kills. Also, remember to get a him with your dragon dagger if you can. When you get him to a little less half health, use your godsword spec. When he runs, check the common places on the map first, and don’t run around too much, sometimes he just comes to you. Don’t be to hasty to turm onn protect from melee, because sometimes he teleports right behind you. Make sure that when you kill him you take all the “Mole Skins” and “Mole Claws”, those are gonna make you the most money. The Spirit Terror Bird is just what I use, you can use a war tortoise too, it just gives you extra space for skins and claws.

Method 2- Dharok Method (Favorite)
-This is for people with some money to throw around
Requirements-Dharoks set
-Any other strength boosting items you
-48 Prayer
-Super Set
-2 Prayer flasks or 3 prayer pots
-A couple sharks
-Cannon and cannonballs
-Falador Telly tabs
-3 Lanters
-Dragon dagger (p++)
-Completed “Dig Site” (Optional)
- Ability to summon “Spirit Terror Bird” (Optional)
Inventory should be-
-2 Sharks
-2 prayer flasks/3 prayer pots
-A spade
-1-3 Lanterns
-Super set
-Cannon and cannonballs ( Optional )
-dragon dagger p++ ( Optional )
Technique
-Option A-If you have completed “Dig Site” Then you can get something called a “Unidentified Liquid”. To get this, read over the “Dig Site” Quest, “”” Click Here””” Once you have the Liquid, simply drop it, and it deals some damage. It Varies how many to drop depending on how much health you have, but try to get your health low, thus making you able to hit very hard on the mole. Do the rest the same as you would in the “Godsword Method”. Make sure to ALWAYS have protect from melee on when you are fighting the mole. (Caution: because if you don’t turn it on a little bit early before you go into combat, the protect from melee may not work, so be sure to turn it on a little early!)
-Option B-Do the same ting as Option A, except insteat of using chemical compound just let the mole hit you, note that his max hit is 250.

Method 3-Custom
-Use whatever armor and weapon you feel like using, and whatever weapon. If you have any chaotic, those work great. If you have a high level in Defence, then you may not need to use protect from melee, but it is still highly recommended. Also, I would use the same inventory as Godsword Method, or Dharok (They are
identical)

Method 4-Range
There are many safe spots in the mole cave, when you walk in there, you should be able to figure it out. I personally never use range, but its defiantly a good way!

Requirements:
-Good range gear
-range pots, super defence pots
-high range level
-Cannon (Optional)
Inventory should be same as other methods.
Technique: Find a good safe spot. Shoot the mole, then run to the safe spot. He will not be able to get to you, so just shoot away at him! If you don’t know what a safe spot is, or how to do it, LOOK IT UP!!!!

You cant trade your skins and claws in at Wyson the gardener, he;s at the east part of falador park. Just talk to him. Sometimes, you may need to hop worlds to get a world to yourself, just like any boss.

Great guide! To get rid of that white space, go to paint, use the crop or cut tool and just crop/cut the map out, it will resize the image for you and get rid of all that ugly whiteness.

I'm going to have to try this sometime soon, the Giant Mole is the Only Boss I Haven't Killed, or I'm fairly positive it is anyways Lol

I really like the guide but you can't get more than 1M..unless if you're really lucky

To maximise kills, try special restores with dragon claws. Using dreadnips also helps a lot. All this partnered with a combat familiar may actually allow multiple kills without him running away.
