Friends Request

I received a friends request the other day and if I wasn't told about it on irc I would never of found it, even looking in my profile. I was wondering if it could be attached to the pm system, "like you have 1 new message", just as a kind of heads up as there is no current notification unless on the actual friends page. It's not a big deal really, but a possible improvement.

I see this hasn't been replied to (I've been gone on a vacation myself).

I looked into it but this isn't possible, then again this option is not really popular as it doesn't really change anything.
