Status Updates.

In short does phpbb allow status updates as a add on? I know of many ipb forums that support it and feel if its possible, it would be a nice addition to the community.

Yes and example of forums that do this would be RSC.

I'm not sure how much space it takes on the website, I feel it would make more unwanted clutter though.

Divine you can never get too much attention ;D. And it's basically like an area where you can type whatever is on your mind and people can comment on it. Obviously there needs to be a requirement for posting or else links get posted and it gets ugly.

Add meh on FB . Probrem Solved. But let's see if this happens Support.
