Power Supply Empty Power Supply

Post by DoYouPlay_RS 2/12/2012, 10:51 pm

Looking to get a new power supply. Currently im at 320w, my graphics card is 300w and my speakers are 70w so I dont think I'm getting the best out of my card. What do you guys recommend

There are the ones I'm looking at

Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (CX500)

that one is good enough, if you don't care about the efficiency stick to bronze, if you do then maybe go gold/platinum, and if you can spend a bit more maybe go for a 600-750w so you don't have to upgrade later.

Thermaltake or Corsair are the only brands I will buy. The one you have chosen will do fine, but I agree with attk master.

this is what I have, but im running 2 hard drives, an ssd, two high powered graphics cards in crossfireX, multiple fans, etc. I would vouch highly for corsair or xfx psus for gaming if thats what u want. For what you have u could easily get a 600w or 650w for cheap but the 500w should be fine
