that is what happens when i type letter a-z in order. when i click shift the computer goes into standby mode.
issue is on windows xp media center edition 2005. tried googling to no avail.... not sure if its a setting? ive tried ctrl+shift makes all keystrokes [][][][] boxes... stock keyboard has the problem. also i just cleaned it afteri got the problem.


im using the on screen keyboard now but it sucks...

Problem fixed by trying a new keyboard. Sad that I have to use this crap compaq for now instead of the one I had (which is 10x better). But this can be locked now.
