What is expected of me as a Smokin Mils exchange FC rank?

To be a rank in the Smokin Mils exchange FC, we expect a certain level of professionalism and friendliness towards both customers and other ranks. Being a host in the FC will require you to be the middle man in transactions involving, you guessed it, the exchange of EOC and 07 gp. This is where the profits come in. You, as the middleman, receive a 5% fee that is taken out from one of the trading party's gold involved in the exchange. At the current moment, there are no fees that you must pay, so the 5% per transaction is all yours to keep! Alternatively, you may offer to exchange with a customer yourself, offering a certain exchange rate. This leaves room for even more profit!

This sounds great! How do I get involved?

To become a rank in the FC, just like with the old hosting program, you will be required to buy in for your rank. Different ranks have different limits they may exchange at one time. The buy ins are as follows:

1 Banana - 10m 07|100m eoc Limit (200m total value per trade) -> 500m
2 Banana - 20m 07|200m eoc Limit (400m total value per trade) -> 1000m
3 Banana - 30m 07|300m eoc Limit  (600m total value per trade) -> 1500m
Bronze Star - 50m 07|500m eoc Limit (1000m total value per trade) -> 2000m


If you would like to buy in for a rank, please send a forum PM to [ADMIN] Corowns, or join #SMExchange in IRC and send Corowns a query. He will be more than willing to get you started on your road to hosting exchanges in the channel. When buying in, ALWAYS ask for confirmation of identity through forum PM. We will never PM you on a noob account. After you buy in, you will be given access to a section for hosts where you may read all there is to know about hosting trades, as well as meeting and socializing with your fellow hosts.

Alright maybe I will eventually buy once my dispute is cleared up. Sucks that I have to pay for something I didn't do... it's my fault though lol, but yeah I am interested.

Im guessing the buyins are in EoC money? Also will there ever be a real life money buyin?

You could always buy RSGP to buy in. And yes, Herblore is partially correct. With hosts you could use real money, Im not so sure about Exchange ranks though.
