Basically im planning to go Amsterdam with 3 other friends in December and was wondering if anyone has any advice on cheap hotels ect.

Like i know the basics so don't go into to much depth with that if you can xD

Im pretty sure airbnb is very popular in Amsterdam, so i would suggest looking there

As Broeder suggested Airbnb is probably the best to use for hotels. I would also check out the reddit wiki of amsterdam here http://www.reddit.com/r/Amsterdam/wiki/index
I think that will answer almost all questions you have, but feel free to post them here too if you cant find something
