i trusted Vip member "Emgo" with my account information to do a summoning service for me. he got me half way there yesterday and said he would fininish today. i just went to check hiscores to see how far he's gotten has i haven't heard anything since last night to find out my in game name has been changed, so i go to change my password and when i get to my email its got 30 requests to change my password and to change my recoveries. i took screen shots of my bank before hand and of my 30 emails. once he has logged off of my account i will screen the ip he used to log in. an admin should be able to check the last ip emgo logged from and match it to the ip i pull from my runescape account.
once he has logged off and i can check my items and screen whats left i will post all pictures here. i hope justice can be done to him and his ip become banned.

the only proof i have right now is my bank screens from before the service. my email pictures of all the requests to change my password and my recoveries and the messages we sent back and forth and how he has not said anything sense last night when i lost access to my account. for 3 days a cannot post what my bank looks because the pin was changed.

and i just read that heartstop... how weird. i feel like an idiot for not doing more research about the guy first, i just read a few things he's posted and saw his high post count and rep count and assumed he wouldn't ruin that. cause i've been around here for 6 months+ and barely have any rep or posting power so i assume you have to post on a lot of things to get that high. but like he said himself, he needs a perm ban on all accounts he may have. i'm pretty sure he logged on with a blocked ip so it couldn't be tracked.

Anyways ill save the screens of my bank pre-scam until i can show my bank post-scam in 3 days when my pin is reset.

Logically speaking, it seems that Emgo has more than one account (most likely using a good Proxy), and was trying to report his 'Emgo' account with one of this other accounts. Possibly for recognition, reps, lulz, or whatever. Probably had more than one window open, more than one SM account logged in and messed up.

just got back into my account. there are 4 new friends, one who gave me my pin cause he knew the hacker... i have literally 12 items. he even dropped my cluescrolls/effigies/and things that aren't traded. i lost prolly 100-120m+ plus 10k charms i was saving and all my untradable rares. according to one of the friends he added his real name is deon and his own RS account is called 999isdead. but i hiscored it and it has no stats showing, so i'm sure its just the mule account he used to take all my stuff. here is a screen of my current bank with my changed name. and me talking to the new friend he added.

thank you wager. and easy it does unless you know the pin then you can change it instantly, and his account was doing a summoning service for me, thus he needed access to my bank.

i starting asking all the new friends i had and he gave my password to a friends list of a bunch of people, so the last logged ip isn't his, smart move on his part i guess; but now i guess i have no proof he did it and i'm screwed and also not getting any justice? that sucks.
Another update. one of the guys who he added says the guy who gave him my passwords USN was emgo. i have a screen of the conversation as well. so it was deff emgo like i suspected.

alright thanks snow. let me know if there is anything more i can do. i have screens of my whole bank before, and of people on my friends list saying a rsn by "emgo" was giving them my password. so anything i can do let me know.

It is certain Emgo is to blame here, as there are two options:

1. He scammed you

2. He was hacked, and that person took your money as well.

Either way, he owes you what you've lost.

Alrighty then...

I have been away from home for a few days, if you can view IP addresses of individual posts this will confirm this..

I was doing the service for ebert overnight while I was away.

The account details were written down on a document along with my own personal rs accounts, my smokinelite, youtube, facebook and so on....

I was doing the service, completely and legit and believe I had used about 7k of his golds, I have screenshots of every level, every grandexchange trade to buy the supplies and me taking the 6mil payment using the guy (that will be mentioned further on) as a middleman, friends in real life and on holiday with (he was sat with me at the time) Note: If I had any intension of backstabbing this guy, I would not have sat through the hours of charms that I did do.

While I was away from the desk for whatever reason, all I can then assume that he started all the hassle involving the abuse report against myself and screwing up both eberts account, as well as mine for a joke, not realising the full affect of what he was doing.

I would have posted this sooner, but after the abuse report against myself was placed, i contacted Snow via IRC and he changed the details of my account, and I wasnt able to get on until this point.

This will 100% not get believed as I have seen stories like this repeated throughout the forums. However What I can say, for the past few weeks I have been talking to Dag via skype in terms of buying some RSGP (650m) in a few weeks.. I will contine with this transaction and ebert will be compensated + more regarding the effigies and charms he has lost.

I completely expect a ban, however if that is the case, can ebert please contact me via email/skype so I can give the RSGP when i am able to buy it.

sounds good to me emgo. i also didn't understand why you would go ahead training me if you only planned to steal my stuff. but pm me your skype and i will contact you, and once payment has been given which me and emgo will both confirm with a screen; we will alert you snow to remove his tag.

just one question regarding an earlier post about emgo reporting himself... what was that about? was that you or the hacker?

Returned the 25m that I *scammed* from Emgo a few days ago to ebertowski. This can be subtracted from whatever emgo buys to pay back the losses. I scammed Emgo with admin/gen approval after he came to me wanting a 25m middleman. 25m was the amount of CASH stolen from ebert's bank, so I was suspicious, and asked around a bit in irc. Later I realized that there were items stolen too, but at least him having the 25m now will help some with rebuilding. GL on getting your stuff back Smile

Would just like to add, that 25m was not from his bank at all. None of the items or cash were touched by me or my friend that gave out eberts account details.. the cash was transfered from mule account with all my wealth on it...

doesnt change the fact I do owe him the money... but the money taken from the account had no affilcation with myself...

so the money given to daba wasn't from you but the person who got your account information? also, i have added you on skype and not recieved a IM back, i've tried talking to you 3 times. do you still plan to pay me back?

The money given to Daba was given to him by me, the owner of Emgo, and the person doing the service for you. The cash was transfered from a mule account I have, I took the cash off to make the purchase..

Talking with the guy who took over during me doing the service, he didnt touch any of the items, and in all honesty, he wouldnt have had time as I was barely out the room for 10minutes. He posted that report rep abuse against myself, fraped me a few times and sub'd me to random porn sites and then went on the account and gave the account details to people.

When I couldnt log onto the account, I then PMd the person on it, first off ofcourse me thinking it was you... but after it evidently wasnt, I attempted to bluff my way into saying the account was mine as to not make a record of account sharing.

All the password changes you got were also from the people of whom got hold of the details.

Yes, I do intend on paying the amount back, in full with compensation. But along with my inactivity both on these forums, on RS and my comp in general will explain, I am working on moving out, starting uni and various other IRL stuff that other people will too, be concentrating on.

immediately after he logged out. before saying this he told me he only owed me 7m. even though my bank "was" worth well over 120m plus all my untradeable items that took lots of time to obtain. so i guess ill keep waiting it out and attempting to make it back skilling. Razz
