Forum Code Issues Empty Forum Code Issues

When trying to use color codes, bolding, underlining, and so on, the codes do not do as instructed.

For example, if I were to bold and underline this statement and click 'Preview', it would show the code for the actions rather than bolding/underlining as instructed.

Yes, I highlighted a line of text and added the code to make it green and it simply added the code around it rather than actually making the line green.

Edit: I just tried it once more in an example I was going to post and it worked so I guess it was a minor glitch of some form that has since corrected itself.

Second Edit: I retract my previous statement, it is still an issue. It's apparently just within the 'Logs' section found here: http://www.smokinelite.com/f61-logs-go-here.

Just to be safe, you know you have to keep clicking preview to get the preview updated right?

Otherwise, yes seems like a glitch

I typed the characters you see in the image above, highlighted the text and chose the color brown (to see if perhaps it was just green that wasn't working), then clicked preview.

You can't use the codes in the title of the topic or description. There is a colour button next to the title box that you can use. As for bold and underline, I'm not sure but look to the right of the title box as it might be there. As for the body of the text what you have there should work.

Yes, the body of text in the reply box is what I'm speaking of thus, given your agreement that what I've shown in the image is how it is supposed to be, I believe I can officially consider it a glitch (apparently only for me since it seems to work for Broeder).

Talked with Mr J and came to the conclusion that it was probably just a temporary glitch given that the codes seem to work now.
