I dont know if its allowed to spam so much in the intro section but this picture seems pretty weird to me:

Posting a welcome is fine, as long as its not just a casual one-line sentence. As Jk7 said, you were posting only one line, and it wasn't even unique to each member, you took a line, copied it, and posted it again and again. Just saying ask me if you need anything as you said "Welcome to SM! let me know if you need anything as a new member" is not enough, At least also try to be helpful in your post to them, such as providing a link to the Rules, so they may read them and don't break rules by mistake/unintentionally. Or even a link to the Mentor program, so they can aim for that. Welcoming new members is great and encouraged, but don't do it to everyone in the whole section en masse.

Daba, I am pretty sure guides can be gravedug, But they cannot be locked if they are still valid. I think that's how it goes, Gravedigging is just digging up old topics (Guides in this case, which are not necessarily outdated but have been dead for a while, in discussion).

Guides can be grave-dug. There are plenty of guides that are outdated and irrelevant to RS today.

For example, many old guides give methods that are no longer the best way to do things anymore.

You're 100% fine to dig up old guides as long as you have a suitable question or suitable response to that guide. Just don't spam those guides in terms of 1 words replies.
