VIP and Merchz.com Memberships

My current understanding is that for 5.99 I get VIP status and a membership on Merchz.com for 1 month? Sorry if the answer to this question is stated elsewhere on the forum. I looked around for awhile.

Lifetime gives the same effect, but ofcourse you pay a little more.
