Rune wiki is reporting that the DDOS attacks which have affected LOL are now affecting RS.

so it is not only LOL... DERP DDOS is ddosing most of gaming sites. Heard of ddoses on Runescape, Leage of Legends, Club Penguin, battle.net (Wow, hearthstone etc.)

Got big off of PhantomL0rd's (a LoL streamer) stream by DDoS'ing all of the games he played on streamed, including LoL, Club Penguin, DoTA, Quake Live, and others. Leaked all of his personal information including phone number and home address, resulting in one of his fans to make a prank call to the local police stating he was holding 5 people hostage. The police went to his house, locked him up in handcuffs, and held an automatic to his head while they searched his house.

Other notable games they took down include Runescape, EVE, Minecraft, battle.net, godhatesfags.com, EA.com, and more.

DerpTrolling is a group of people who are still at this moment running from the police, taking down large websites and game servers.

They got one thing wrong, Runescape servers never went down. They just slowed down a bit.

They claimed that it wasn't them who released his personal info as they tweeted that "If it wasn't posted on this twitter, it wasn't us" They also leaked 5k old RS accounts that basically all were banned/inactive.
