Buying .5 BTC [Bought]

Hey, i'm looking to buy half of a bitcoin. I'll pay the market price/2 I believe. (Not bought/sold BTC before so maybe i'm wrong)
I'll pay in PayPal or thru the conversion in RSGP if you prefer.
PS: Anyone who sells to me will have to deal with the fact i'm a total BTC noob and have no idea how it works. Can contact me via IRC from the nickname: "Kce"
