Let me begin by saying: Being ranked in smokin mils is an honor and a privelege.

The first part starts here with your ability to read and follow directions. We are looking not for robots to follow our lead. We are seeking outgoing people who will not only benefit themselves, but also to have a positive influence for the clan.

Second, let's break this down step by step:

1. Have you been a trainee for more than 3 weeks? If not, see 2.
2. Are you ranked 1 bar in "07 flip" or "RS3 Flip" for at least a month?

If not then don't apply yet. We have strict guidelines which must be followed in order for you to even apply for rank.

Note from Mod Suavinator: Consider these applications as your resume; you do not want a bunch of writing about puppies or "lol's" or other people writing all over your application. That is all.


Lastly, please leave the moderating and the useless comments (like saying good luck without adding anything relevant) on applications to yourselves, it just creates more work for us.

True that All i see is "Rejected" on all of them =p Maybe they dont understand what the requirments mean.

It's common sense. If one cannot be bothered to read the rules and guidelines, they won't be accepted. We're not looking for people that can't be bothered to read a paragraph or two. We're looking for professional merchants who are beneficial to the clan and can listen to directions.


You're not wasting our time by applying without meeting the requirements. It takes about 15-20 seconds for me to check to see if you've met the requirements. You're wasting your own time.


That being said, rep is starting to be spread around, so I expect a handful of people may have the 20 rep requirement. But given that I can see it right next to your post, that literally takes 3 seconds to check.

As we can't have made 2 item checks yet, the only was is having 20 rep points and having adverted.
I think there might be a way put a special kind of rank near the reputation points for now, so you can only make a thread in here if you have. (put that rank as the one-but-lowest rank, and every rank from that one and up can create a thread.

E.g. Make the rank (20-Rep) and give it automatically to everyone who reaches the 20rep goal.
Put the rank as the lowest rank but the registered one.
then everyone with the rank 20-rep and up can make a thread. This will avoid the spam until the 2 public dump screens can be made.

It's not really spam. These are REQUIREMENTS to be ranked, not suggestions. Just because someone has 20 rep doesn't mean they are automatically ranked, that is just the first step to even being allowed to appy for rank.

First i thought it was funny how many people were applying without having any requirements, now i think its just stupid lol

The only person who has been ranked so far was, coincidentally, the only person who was able to follow directions well enough to post 7.2k minutes.

I personally can't wait to see people get 2+ item checks down successfully, since that's a MAJOR part for any rank. But that's going to take another week or two :p

Hence why I'm not going to even think about applying until I'm 100% CERTAIN that I will stand any hope of being ranked.

I personally think that it should be NECESSARY for people to pass at least one item check, even if they meet one or more of the other requirements and use that to apply with

whatever floats the generals assorted boats, though

I concur.

Perhaps we could put a rating system to allow the generals/admins etc. to approve people to create a thread in this forum, and make a rule that an application that does not meet basic requirements will earn -rep.

The bottom line is there are requirements that need to be met. No less. There is a form to fill out IF you've met the requirements. If you don't meet the requirements it's simple.
