Several Guides

I believe that there should be some guides on adding avatars, signatures, making a link named, how to name spoilers. All these kind of things to help newcomers or people that need help in any of these areas. They would either go in forum help or getting started, or even both.

There are guides on those actually; it's just difficult for newcomers to find them since they have trouble navigating around the first time. I could probably find most of the links to the guides you mentioned. An example would be this for all topic related issues and this for tweaking your profile (all found, of course, in forum help ). It's a pretty good idea, but there are lots of guides aimed at helping newcomers already. Still, won't hurt to have more I guess?
