Populated World Hopping with Swiftkit (For 2007)

Dual Shock's Method for World Hopping to Populated Worlds
in 2007 Runescape

Let's start with why you would need this. We all know the hassle of trying to get into World 1 and World 2 in OSRS. Most people just open up a new browser and go to http://oldschool1.runescape.com I used to do that, and it just became annoying, as I wanted to have IRC and Stat Lookup as well.

Things you will need:

SwiftKit
NotePad
Your Hands and a Keyboard!

First, you will need to open up Notepad as Administrator

Second, you will need to go File->Open and navigate to where your SwiftKit is installed. On most computers you can find that here:

If you're on a Mac... try to get to there! Razz

Next, you need to go into the Data folder and make sure you have All Files selected from the Drop Down Box and Open Links.ini

Next, edit Link6 to say Link6=http://oldschool1.runescape.com ; This will make your "Play Now" button under Old School Selection take you to world 1. Make sure you save!

Optionally, you can edit Link40 (which is Runescape Classic) to say Link40=http://oldschool2.runescape.com ; Which will now make Classic "Play Now" take you to world 2.

Then, just select which Profile to use
OldSchool for World 1, Classic for World 2

and Shazam! It works Very Happy

and lastly.. for the easy way.

Inside of Swiftkit, hit Ctrl-O and then type the url where you would like to go.
