The slayer skill

The slayer skill was introduced on 26 January 2005, as one of the first member skills. Slayer is based on completing slayer tasks for slayer experience. Tasks are given by 7 slayer masters, depending on combat and slayer level. If you kill a monster with 1000 constitution, you recieve 100 slayer experience. You can only get experience by killing the monsters of the task that is given by the slayer master. You can't get experience by random killing monsters. Slayer isn't a fast skill to train, but you also get much experience in the combat skill you use. There is still no one with 200m slayer experience, after more then 5 years. I will start this guide with the most important part, the fastest way to train slayer. Later in the guide I will show the masters, the monsters with the item you need to kill them, and some information about quests and minigames that give slayer xp.

Training slayer

This guide is different to all 1-99 guides, because it isn't a really good idea to make a 1-99 slayer guide. I can only give you much tips for the fastest way to train slayer. Read all tips and train faster slayer.

• Select the slayer master in the list in this guide, normally the best available slayer master for you is the best.
  
• You can place monsters on the black list for 100 slayer points after Smokin Kills, you need 50 Questpoints for 1 task, 100 for 2 etc.
  
• If you can't place tasks on the black list, you can get 1 new task by speaking to Turael in Burthrope. His tasks are very easy.
  
• You can use your enchanted gem to ask your slayer master how much more monsters you need.
  
• If you completed Smokin Kills, slay with a (full) slayer helmet.
  
• You can use the combat traingle, usefull if you wear dhide agains mage tasks
  
• Try to get good weapons, magers can cast good spells (fire surge best), dfs + whip or maybe saradomin godsword for melee and rune cbow + broad bolts for rangers.
  
• Use super potions or extreme potions for the fasest xp.
  
• Use bones to peaches tabs if you have a task far away from bank. They are good for dust devils and bloodvelds on low level.
  
• If you completed Smokin Kils, get a slayer ring for 75 points. It's a extensive enchanted gem and their are good teleports on it.
  
• A bunyip (68 summoning) heals you 20 lifepoints every 15 seconds.
  
• You can use a dwarven cannon for some tasks in multi area, like dagganoths.
  
• Before you start a task, make sure you got the needed item if you need one.
  
• With the "npc contact" spell on lunar you can talk to your slayer master.
  
• Try to get all armour, potions, food and other supplies banked for faster xp.
  
• You can cancel a task once for 30 slayer points.
  
• You can also train slayer by using soul wars points, often used by skillers.
  

Masters

There are 7 slayer masters, on 7 locations in RS. I will show you the name of the slayer master, the location on the world map, the name of his location and the requirements for this slayer master. I'll also show a picture of the master himself.

Monsters + Supplies

There are much monsters in game with a slayer level requirement. The most of them got a special drop. Here are the monster names with the level requirements, the locations and the special drops. For some monsters there is a item needed to kill them. Most of this items can be bought by all slayer masters. In the table you can also see the item you need if there is one. The marked items are high value drops.

Quests and minigames

There are also other ways to gain slayer experience. Ofcourse you can use xp lamps, penguin points and more on it, same for every other skill, but you can also do quests or the soul wars minigame. Let's start with soulwars.

Soulwars is best alternative way to gain slayer experience. The soul wars minigame is located at the portal south of edgeville Skillers, who can't complete tasks, used to do this for slayer experience. There are combat 3 players with 99 slayer. It isn't recommed for players with cmb, they can also complete tasks, and it's better to use the soul wars zeals for other experience.
In soul wars, you can get zeals by completing soulwars games (20 minutes). You get 3 zeals for winnnig a game, 2 for a tie and 1 zeal if you lose. The max zeals a hour is 9, and you can win much games by using soulwars clanchats.
The xp reward is 7 xp for handing in zeals with 1 slayer, up to 1305 xp with 99 slayer. You can hand in zeals at Nomad.

Now the quests. There are a total of 9 quests that give slayer experience and 4 miniquests. The most special slayer quest is smokin kills, and fur 'n sneek is also much about slayer. Everyone with 85 combat or higher should do smokin kills, to make a full slayer helmet. That makes slayer easyer. You also get rewards for tasks after smokin kils. Let's make a short list with the quests, their slayer requirement and the experience reward. For other info, requirements and questhelp, you can take a look at tipsites.

Slayer challenges

Slayer masters can also give you slayer challenges. These challanges are other tasks as normal and give you better rewards for better tasks. You can just decline the task and get a normal task but it's better xp then normal tasks so you should accept it. Every master gives a other challange. Here are the challanges of each master :

miniature pics of all the slayer monsters would be epic, but difficult to do (due to tasks being random)
but you could always ask all the slayers of the forum to take a screenshot for you whenever they're on a task

but not all the possible tasks are in the list above.
There are so much more monsters that doesn't require a slayer level.
I will do if any1 feel intersted in taking so much pics ;p

Changed that one. I know it was a bit noob one, but it can be usefull for people that want to train mage, range and melee

And, gear and inv depending on so very much factors.
Also can't make that pics cause I only got pure atm.
Training slay on it ofc, but can't wear the best armour for most of you.

Doesnt she give much more points then just 18?
