That costs money too, and you have to lend it every time when you want it.

I don't like borrowing items if I'm going to use it a lot in the future, I rather buy it then and sell it later with profit most on the time.

Soft, I don't have enough money for an sgs, hence why I borrowed it For the first time in RuneScape earlier I owned a pair of dclaws, bought them for less than minimum in the ge, lent out for max trade for an hour, and sold via trade for market price in cash.
