Obtaining my first Fire Cape.

After seeing many people set-up their goals, i suppose it would be interesting to set my own up. Which is simply, obtaining my first Fire Cape. I have had several failed attempts now, many of them while on wave 63 ... Which i think is ridiculous but, I've recorded most of them so, lets see how many more i would have to do before having it in my possession.

Perhaps i'll put up a sped-up recording of all of my fails .

why is it that you end up failing? nerves? lack of supply? misclicks? i would be interested to see your attempts btw if you get fed up with trying, there are many trusted and pro fire cape services here at smokin mils

I have the same Issue. It's Like impossible for me to get one; I Swear.
I Always have Issues because I both panic, and can't switch my prayers worth a shit. Something I'm just naturally horrible at and it doesn't help that my connection has a slight Stall on clicking fairly often.

what are your cmb levels while trying to get this?

My levels are: (Since i use magic) 70 Defence, 86 Magic, and 81 HP.

I just seem to panic when i get to TzTok-Jad... Then i end up misclicking when the healers come. :s

Well good luck that's also one of my goals but I haven't even tried yet I guess I should just do it.

That's not good at all, especially at Jad.

With Polypore on your side, you're bound to get it so long as you can calm the nerves.
I had problems with it myself; didn't attempt it for 8-9 months.

One day a couple months ago, I had a random urge to do it...so I did.
Five capes on my account + 49 capes completed for services later, I own Jad; not the other way around.

Yeah to much Prayer Switching; It Seems to be the only thing I have Issues with; Nex/Glacors Require a Decent Amount of Prayer Switching and I have no Issues with them. I Think Jagex just doesn't want me to get a damn Fire Cape. On Attempt 46 Rofl

Tis why 85 Defence + 85 Mage is nice. Gano = +53% absorption, thus, it's possible to remain on Range-protect/deflect the entire time

I may just wait until i have the "urge", seems as if it would work out a lot better. I was so upset when i died half way into killing Jad. Not much of a reason to go back. :s

That's exactly how it used to end for me, but I didn't attempt it nearly as many times as you have I don't think.
Before said urge which led to success, I think I had only made like three attempts.

Wow, what were your stats like?

First time I beat it (after said urge), I was 93-95 defense, 83 range, and 95 or so hp.
