~Heavens Sake QBD Guide~

Hey everyone, so ever since the QBD came out i havent tried it until EoC came out. I imagine that it mustve been much much harder then it is now. But ive created a little guide to how ive been doing at an efficient rate:

Also, please be reminded this is MY way of doing it and many of you may do it differently but this is my most effcient way of doing QBD. Therefore i am not saying you have to have everything exactly as i do.

First off lets start with recommended levels:

CMB: 120+
Attack: 90+
Strength: 90+
Defense: 90+
Hitpoints: 90+ (also make sure to bonfire before fighting for an HP boost)
Prayer: 92+
Summoning: Terrorbird+
Herblore: 85+ (super anti fires)

Next we are on to gear:

NOTE: As always there is better gear to use, but i find this setup cost and strategy efficient.

After gear we are on to inventory setups; now the first screenshot you will see will be if you are using the aura Penace. The second screenshot will be without Penace:

NOTE: I am showing the setup for Overloads. If Overload are not available to you, just switch out the overload pot and a rocktail for an extreme attack and strength. Also, whichever BoB you are using just fill it with rocktails. Unless of course you are using a Steel Titan in which you would just bring scrolls.

Now you may be asking "Well since its EoC there are abilities...which ones should i use?":

NOTE: I find this ability setup to be most effective, however you may find something else better. Feel free to tweak it and let me know if there's anything that works better!

To the last and final part of this guide, how to get there:

NOTE: This costs no money to teleport there, otherwise use the Explorers ring to teleport to the cabbage field just north.

Extra Information you should know:

-When and if you die while fighting the QBD, your gravestone will appear just north of the cave. All BoB items will be included in the gravestone.

-When the QBD is shooting "stronger flames" you should move back as far as possible. If you stay up close it could deal as much as 2500 damage a hit rather then 600 if ou move far back.

-QBD will eventually spawn Giant Worms and Tortured Sould. Ignore the Giant Worms and activate the lamps as soon as possible to stop them from spawning. However, Tortured Souls will hit you once for an extreme amount. These you should not ignore and kill immediately, just make sure you pay attention to the fire waves.

-Fire waves are common sense, just aim to go through the opening. Failure to do this will result in 2000 damage. But if you just run right through it, the fire wave will only do 1000 damage.

Upon reading your guide, I decided this would be as good a time as any to take a stab at the QBD for myself. Took four attempts in total, but finally ended up beating it rather easily on the final go. Nothing special rewards wise, but time well spent I suppose. I may continue at it and make some money, but if not I at least now have that requirement checked off my completionist list.

anytime! i had to try it a few times myself until i finally beat it. but after that it comes easy now!

i still got a unforged royal crossbow, recently started training defence as i always was 45 defence. could you make a guide for something where you can wear a shield, as i dont wanna spend around 35m for super antifire

i wouldnt recommend doing this without using antifires.

oke, so if i get superantifires, does dharoks still work? heard it got nerfed quite hard

yea it was nerfed, and i dont think its the best option anymore. i would go with a royal cbow rather than dharoks.

im actually doin qbd to forge one , what crossbow should i use?

rune, or ccb, i would use dual if you have them

first attempt wave 2 and i was out of food, i kinda blame lag but also, it was all going way to fast

make sure not to focus on the grots and to kill the shadows quick.

im using ranged pot n double rune cbow, still i aint hitting anything? ran out of food at the begin of stage 3

i did,

i just did another attempt but instead of void i brought royal + veracs helm for the extra defence bonus, also used a karils crossbow to hit more ( rune really sucks )

so advice for other people

dont use void if you are a starter
dont use rune crossbows
use karils if you dont have/cant wear royal/chaotic
definnitly bring a bob ( preferable war tortoise+ )
practice on the tortured souls, if i would have done stage 4 with 4 at the same time properly i would of have forged the crossbow and completed the kill ( i died right after i forged it because i ran out of food )

lol, first attempt since i got royal crossbow, had 5 shark left and didnt really have any trouble doing it

Full Dharoks. I believe the reason he was using Dharoks in this picture was due to the overpowered force it had on the QBD at the time (Jagex has since corrected that making Dharoks not nearly as good as it was at that time).

It's Dharok's armor set. Amulet of Fury. Barrows Gloves. Tok-Har cape (idk name but its fire cape i believe). Berserker Ring. Idk boots, but Dragon Boots would be sufficient.

The boots are Bandos boots.

Anyone looking at this guide please refrain from using it. This is out of date and by far not the best setup. i will try and make an updated guide within the next week.
