Training Mage on a budget
Hey, I'd like to get my magic level to 20 or so. However, I only have around 5k to spend. Is there a fast/efficient way to do it for this price?

Imp Catcher - Mage experience reward
Witch's Potion - Mage experience reward
That's a nice start.

I've done Witch's potion that got me to 4 magic. Imp Catcher is still to expensive, I could buy way more runes for the price that buying the beads would take.
I'm looking to get from level 4-13 magic, I guess I could go to that keep in the wilderness?

I have 27 woodcutting so I can get a canoe straight to varrock which will get me back to the wilderness fairly fast if I die.

Get the beads yourself? That's what I'm doing.

Perhaps. Although now I thought of it my Dark Warrior's method is probably faster as long as I stay friendly with pk;'ers.

Tbh, Weena, thank you I'm in a similar situation. I don't have heaps of cash, but I'd like to get my Magic up to at least the level to Varrock teleport
I would recommend, for now, perhaps seeing if you can make your own air runes (completing Rune Mysteries gives you the Air Tally, and then you can do some runs of essence for yourself), that would shave off quite a bit of money + get you RCing experience. Higher RC = better runes to make, less money to spend (in the end)
