I'm fairly sure someone already mentioned it, well they should of, but cba with trawling through 7 pages, soo the legend at the bottom of the home page is all the same colours, hardly informative Razz

After sitting with it for a few days and playing around, I'm in agreement with Kelly. I'd much rather have the old forums back, or a skin more akin to the nature of this community. I could live with it, in the grand scheme of things I could live with much worse. This is not an ugly skin or bad skin by any means. I simply don't think it is for us.

I recognize and appreciate all the hard work that you guys are doing (Josh, Inhaps, Mr J). I'm not trying to down anyone, just expressing that maybe this isn't for us.

Psh, totally disagree! I really like this new skin Razz

How do you feel the old skin was more like us?

The buttons on the left of each section that fill in yellow/gold when there are new posts to be read either sometimes glitch (remain yellow/gold even when there aren't any new posts) or it remains because there are new posts in other sections within that forum section that I cannot see which is kind of annoying.

Thanks, Nick. I think I know what's the problem. Is your screen resolution 1024x768?

I've noticed that the whole site is wrong in non-Chrome browsers. That's because of a CSS compressor that ruined everything.

Forum Remodel - Page 5 3V7Zd

The text color for a forum description and the sub forums are the same until your mouse goes over it (using FF if it matters)

and from a mod POV it doesn't ask if I'm sure if I wanna lock a topic. not sure if that from your end or not but its something I noticed.

Overall it does look amazing Very Happy

The colours in Firefox do act rather weird. I think I know how to fix that.

That is normal locking behaviour as far as I know.

Yayy!! You fixed the stretch thank you SOOO much.

I can actually can look at the forums without constantly moving a scroll bar.

I take back my first remark here, I do like this skin now that it has been around for a couple days, and that you've been fixing these problems.

Good work guys. <3

Edit: One thing I wouldn't mind seeing being changed is where the Avatar is placed above your name. It used to have our name on top of our avatar, and I find it easier to see who is posting what that way. Its one thing that looks kinda funny to me, not sure if anyone else has mentioned it.

I believe I can position the name/rank/avatar like it used to but it is going to be a bit of a hack and might not work all the time.

A part of the CSS code got deleted. Odd. I'll try to get that sorted.
Forums are no longer stretched for lower res screens.
Avatars are back where they belong.

The background might be changed in the near future but no promises.

I wasn't a fan of it at first, because I didn't understand the correlation between it and SM, but while I still don't understand the correlation I'm already used to this change so it wouldn't bother me either way.

Fantastic work.

The quote and multi-quote buttons still have lines through them. They look crossed out in my opinion. Maybe make them like the New Topic and Post Reply buttons. Also I like the new SM logo at the top of the forums Smile

Yay the SM button is clickable Smile

I think that the Multi quote button should light up when clicked, only small things need improving now.

Like Leakee said, maybe the buttons could light up a bit when you hover over them, but I don't see anything else that should be fixed asap, just some little things that can be done better and cleaner, but I think this is fine already.
Maybe a bigger send/preview button? Razz

I was planning to work on the buttons. Don't worry. I also figured out how to make the white reply box the same as the other; I just need to catch Mr J for that cause other admins cannot quite make that change. This should make writing posts so much more convenient.

I see you worked out the avatar issue, thanks its alot easier on the eyes imo!

I noticed another thing while posting a youtube link using the box, the text is too dark to see if you posted the correct link.  Here's a pic of what it looks like.
