Leak/update hint?

To make up for the previous unreal glitch thread I am posting this:





Anyone knows what could this thing be?

They are placeholders (duh?) =P they prob bugged into ge database and most likely be removed in next update

Unless these seem to be parts of an item that doesn't exist, id say it probably doesn't give any new info. But there is some small chance it could be placeholders recently added for a planned item.

I guess to make it interesting ud need to confirm that these are not images of parts of any existing items. Dunno if anyone recognizes them perhaps.

I'm assuming it could be for the new barrows update?

We'll just have to wait for tomorrows BTS post by Jagex and then we will know if they are releasing any new weapons to the game in November, or if the barrows update happens.

Did you mean to look this up or was it in place of another actual item.

I found it on RuneScape forums and decided to take a look at it myself too. Then I thought I could post it here.

I've noticed it says that it's a melee weapon, fastest speed, dual wield. New weapons = Drygores panic?

Fastest speed doesn't mean faster than everything previously released.
Bronze darts have the speed tag 'fastest' too, which simply means you attack with intervals of 2.4 seconds.
Fast means it has an interval of 3 seconds (which ofcourse for dual wielding means a hit every 1.5 seconds)

They're also not going to release any level 95 weapons before release the 2h lvl 90 weapons, which cannot possibly have the 'fastest' speed tag as they're 2h.

Yeah I know, Drygore mace also has "fastest" speed. I don't know what level weapons could those be, but I thought that any weapon that is more or less good, would cause some people to panic sell a bit.

I vaguely remember talk on rsof about the possibility of introducing placeholders for expensive high level weapons/armours to save ppl from buying 2 of each item just so they can find it in their bank quickly. Didn't think it was jagex, but maybe they liked the idea.
