Rejuvenating the Wilderness

So yesterday one of the big OSRS updates came out, what are your thoughts about Wildy rejuvenation?

For those that don't know this is what was added to the game:

-A new HUGE spider multiway combat boss
-New skeleton like multiway boss
-New HUGE bear multiway boss
-Dragon pickaxe dropped by the above 3 and KBD and Chaos Elemental. It's spec boosts mining.
-3 new solo bosses: crazy archeologist, chaos fanatic and Scorpia(huge scorpion)
-New best range and mage attack boosting shields(i think?) dropped by those 3 solo bosses.
-Lots of old monsters were made stronger.
-Red drags turned into lava drags and drop new lava dragon bones.
-Ents added, you can chop them after you kill them for logs.
-New red chin spot you can use 1 more trap than usual there
-Mamooths added too
-More rune rocks in far northwest
-Dark crabs, 85 fish 90 cook food that heals 22
-New chests to steal from behind rogue's
-New resource area high level trees and ores in far north
-Rune golem that turns into a rune rock once defeated
-Fountain like thing allowing you to cast any spell without using runes when next to it.
-Multiway PVP GWD
-Lever in edge

But for a high levelled player

You are right it's mostly high leveled content.
I am a noob in 07 so I can't join these updates :/
On the other hand though: Don't you think those updates which never actually were in real 2007 are ruining the old school RS?
I personally find them really cool but if Jagex continues with such updates it might soon become anything but RS...

EDIT: I'd actually love for them to release something like this in RS3.

Imo most of the people dont want osrs or rs3. They want the rs from bfr eoc where torva was 1b d claws were 11M and so on :p

Yeah I agree. Apparently Jagex is going to bring it back with legacy mode, but I think it just will not be the same :p

When i started playing runescape it was after 2007 and bfr eoc. And i know that no legacy mode can bring back the same runescape but quite same like a sample of the main rs which aint enuf
