It depends on how much cash you have to begin with, talking purely about investing, not any specific items.
Unless you have multi billions, I'd advise against any long term investments. Flipping and short term investments will be much more profitable.

You can find another item that is a lot cheaper that you can flip. Maybe try a bunch of smaller items at the same time. Magic Logs, Rune items, Bandos items, Runes, etc...
