boots are overrated on aatrox I think. you don't do much running around at all, you just need to be able to land a slow or hit your knock up ult gives you range and attack speed so if you dive on someone with q then ult followed by e you will ko them with ease. bork + randuins if needed also. I generally don't build boots on aatrox at all, i'm actually surprised I even had t1 boots lol. as for escapes the same thing. you can slow enemies 1326524 different ways and jump over walls

EDIT: there are some matchups that I will get boots, for example vs jax or ryze
