Guide to 99 Prayer Fastest Method

Hi guys. I have some spare time on my hands today so I thought to myself why not make a 99 prayer guide even though I do not have 99 I only have 95 since that is all I need on my maxed turmoil zerker (Now I Ice U). This is my first guide so go easy on me and leave me tips or correct me if I am wrong.

This guide will contain:

Guilded Altar method (fastest way):
Level Requirements: Level 1 Prayer
Level 75 construction (possible at 69 with boost)

Items you will need are: 2 clean marrentill per round, a tinder box, house tablets and dragon bones or Frost dragon bones. (Frost Dragon Bones are faster exp but will cost you alot more I only recommend if you have a 500M+ bank) =]

A BoB is strongly recommended to hold extra dragon bones.
BoB's you can use are:
Bull ants which requires a level of 40 summoning and can hold 9 items.
Terrorbirds which require level 52 summoning and can hold 12 items.
Tortoises which require a level of 67 summoning and can hold 18 items.
Pack Yaks which require a level of 96 summoning and can hold 30 items. (Pak Yaks bring the most exp per hour)
Set your Summoning button to 'take BoB'

Your inventory should look like this:


To make your life alot easier you want to have your Guilded altar close to your entrance portal and you will also want to have your amulet of glory in the next room. Using your own Amulet of Glory in your house will save you more cash then using Duelling Rings. Have your roofs turned of. Just like this:


Now teletab to your house. Have your house settings so when you teleport to your house you teleport inside this can be done in the options tab.

Once you are inside your house light your 2 burners. Then use your bones on your altar select the x option and type in the amount of bones you are carrying or more. Once you have done that you can click on 'Take BoB" and you will keep offering. (If you use offer all it only uses the bones that are in your inventory) I am not quite sure anymore if you just do offer all with the new layout of the skilling if it will do your BoB also since I got 95 prayer before the update. Once you have finished using your bones click on your Amulet of Glory that is inside your house and teleport back to Edgeville.

Once you have teleported to Edgevill simply bank and withdraw 2 more clean marrentills and some dragon bones.
Also a tip is to have your x amount of a item set as 2 so you can withdraw your clean marrentills quickly and then withdraw all dragon bones and repeat.


99 prayer costs around 270M these days using this method with dragon bones. If you do not want or do not have 75 construction you can always go to world 31 Yanille and ask for a house. Using this method can get you around 220k exp per hour using a BoB and around 150k without not too sure since it has been a while and you can get 220k+ with frost dragon bones. I never used a BoB since I am only 53 summoning and basicly could not be bothered.

I don't know many people who will just stay in your house and light your burners most of my friends wouldn't. If its something like 1-52 sure why not but like 52 - 99 I don't think so. And also as I said you can always go to world 31 and use someone elses house. They will light the burners for you. =]

Just promise to pay them 1M per hour, and they can also fletch bolts while lighting the burners.

Btw you could also use frost dragon bones

problem with that is that u cannot use house teletabs which lowers ur exp per hr since u typically have to walk to the friends house

Gilded Alter's definitely the way to go. Altough those who don't have 75 construction may have to find someone who does, and use their alter. For construction, I worked out it takes 7M of building oak larders to get to 75. : )

I have 71 con and a gilded altar. I'm not sure how I did it exactly, but I think I usedd a combination of the crystal saw and some sort of potion. Might want to look into that, as it cuts the costs a bit.

Or you could use one of the tea's to boost your constuction level which stacks with the crystal saw.

tea + saw (tea from a golden cup:))

you can do it with 68 construction and crystal saw with a stew, but there anoying. i got 70 con with oak shelves. although if you want you can get 69 con with teak shelves

nice guide. i used to alch + light burners for some of my friends back in the day.

Wrong. Almost all houses are at Yanille, so just set the teleport option to arrive at portal, and use house tabs, then it'll work just fine.

i am currently doing this method for 95 pray, but im going bankrupt (or how do you say it in english? :p)

nicely written, too bad offer 1 has been nerfed, that was awesome exp if you had the concentration and mousekey speed

I remember when i got 98 prayer back before alter x was about i think the price of it makes up for how easy it is to gain now.

Thats pretty good =]

If you're using another persons house located in yanille you can always use the chipped house tablets that can be made after the quest "Love story".

Or you can just locate your own house there as you need 68 construction for Love story and just 50 construction to locate your house.

thanks for the guide. I knew about this a while back, but never really found out the details of how to do it efficiently. Now I just have to actually do it.
