Well first off i think the lighting you have in the back was a perfect way to show the lighting source on the render. Also im digging your stock background choice. I dislike the flare effect on behind his head. I might have sharpened the whole piece a little. Also would have maybe made the piece more vibrant, or more muggy but i dont like it in the middle. Overall i think its a good piece though Atlas. Love seeing your improvement.

i think this is a good comp. i would also on this one made the colors more vibrant. and i would have blurred out the hand to make it look out of focus, and it would help give it depth. I also think you should have added in more darks to help the lights shine brighter. And you put to many of the flare effects on this, looks like ball c4ds i think you used? Other than that i like it well done.

Thanks for the CnC, Josh.
(this was also an example of how it would normally work)

Mmkay well... It's a start, but it lacks just about all aspects of a good signature: depth, blending, quality, etc. Try reading a few guides on how to improve these (they are all over the internet!) and keep trying! Don't give up just because your first 50 tags look badhelloim96 wrote:

Giving it a 'go' will be useless, read up on what it actually means and ask us about things before trying it. And then think before you do any new layer

I agree, You should look at all the aspects of design. Atlas posted some of them when he CnC your piece. And try and make a piece for each, so make a piece that shows amazing depth. Then do a piece that shows good balance. Then once you have done them all try and integrate more of them into one sig.

Re: Artistic Blur CnC Pit
try adding more layers of background to make it better practise. Have a most furthest, a few that are closer, then your render and then maybe 1 or 2 that are even closer than the render. That way you can more easily practise depth because you have to think about making it realistic like in real life where items in the background arent equally far away from you

Sometimes when i try and show depth i blur out parts of the render. So on this one maybe i would blur out some of his capes on the left side of the render so it looks out of focus. Also i add things in front of my render, you should never just have your render in front of everything. So maybe add in some c4ds in front of the render, or some smudge effects. Also the background is not doing it for me. To start out i suggest your background just be a expanded version of your render. Big enough you cant tell its your render. your using it to keep the same color scheme.

Mie bad what broeder said was spot on though tbh you want to add things infront and behind and blur them and sharpen them accordingly.

This is my favourite one of the two, Atlas. It's all sparkly n' sh*t. Can, can I lick your sig?

I'll do what you said with the same signature, I've also been lookin at some guides.
Edit: Can't test the old one lol, must have deleted it.

Let me ask you something
Why do people blur aspects to create depth in a signature?

Well I surpose the further away something is away to you the less cleary you can see it, or something like that.

I see what you did there, Broeder.
