Runescape 2007 Staking Guide Empty Runescape 2007 Staking Guide

iEmz Staking Guide

So! You want to make millions? Tired of skilling 24/7 for a pathetic 1M a day? Well! Why not try staking?

Background;

I've been staking for about 7 years now on Runescape and I absolutely love it. Personally the best time was around 2010 with Morrigan Javs/Zuriels staff/Vesta, bank was made and getting "PID" (First hit) was a simple method which required logging in and out several times (sometimes for 3/4 hours to be sure you have first hit on everyone).

Staking;

As we all know staking is a mixture of Luck/Skill/First hit/Stats personally there's no way to divide it to percentages but from my experience I believe it's about 0% skill with no movement on, and 20% with movement on. 65% stats based. 65% first hit based and 50% luck based.

Mainly because, with no movement, you're literally just spam clicking different weapons/spec bars and don't need to avoid hits/use obstructions. It's also majority of the time 50% luck based if you're up against someone with similar stats. HOWEVER, what can actually make you have an advantage of having a 65% chance of winning rather than 50% is FIRST HIT.

How to get First hit on 07;

First hit on 07 is based on your IP address. The 2nd from last set up numbers has to be a multiple of 8 and the last number has to be as low as possible, the first 2 sets of numbers don't matter. YOU must have the 2nd from last set of numbers as a multiple of 8, it if isn't and you have a .0 at the end, you wouldn't have first hit for having the lowest possible number as your last combination.

Ideally a perfect IP would be XX.XXX.16.0

As 16 is a multiple of 8 and 0 is as low as you can get.

Something like XX.XXX.240.1 would also be a decent staking IP.

XX.XXX.13.0 >>> Wouldn't be a good IP even if you have a 0 at the end, as 13 isn't a multiple of 8 (and it's an unlucky number) all jokes aside you should really get a good IP before staking for profit.

How to manage this IP address;

Reset your router for hours and hours until you hit something nice.

Purchase a VPN and use an IP address from there, finding the IP would be a struggle, but I'm not so experienced with VPN's so someone may be able to cover this section on how to do it.

Decent builds you may consider; ALL 1 PRAYER

A Boxer - 75 att 58 str 75 defence 72 hp @ 79.925 COMBAT

A PURE DDSer - 60 att 91 str 1 defence 86 hp @ 70.825 COMBAT

A 40 def DDser - 60 att 85 str 40 defence 75 hp @ 75.876 COMBAT

A LOW level DDser - 60 att 63 str 1 defence 63 hp @ 55.975 COMBAT

A Pure Low level Raner - 70 range 1 defence 70 hp @ 51.875 COMBAT

A Pure ranger - 83 range 1 defence 86 hp @ 62.8 COMBAT

Super Tank Ranger - 70 range 70 defence 73 hp @ 69.875 COMBAT

A tank ranger - 77 range 40 defence 74 hp @ 65.875 COMBAT

A mage boxer - Intially either 80 or 92 magic with about 60 to 80 hp depending on your combat and defence doesn't really matter, but it's good do have defence to tank some mage hits.

I'm aware there are many many more builds to become a stake, I just went through my personal favourite and the most common ones. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer!

you should add in how to get first hit without Pid because if movement is on it's not IP based it's about skill.
Add this in your guide:
To Get first hit with movement on try to be the last one to click on your opponent so if he's running towards you run back as far as possible get him close to you and hit him and if you were the last one to hit you should get first hit and to get a reverse hitback if you still don't get first hit run around the forfeit box and trap your opponent and when he runs towards you click him. however you won't win just because of first hit however it is a great advantage
you can rephrase that ^

The Third set of X's should be divisible by 8 Examples" 8,16,24,32,40,48..etc" and the last set of X's should be as low as possible

It doesn't matter if the first 2 are XXX.XXX. or XX.XXX or XXX.XX Razz

As long as you have 8, 16, 24 ect ect even if it's 240 you're good with the last one being as low as possible.

I know someone on a .152.1 and he's selling access to that IP address for 15M (07) so let me know if interested I can pass on his info.

That IP has now been locked, too many people started leaking it to each other so any account logging on to it from RS gets their acc auto locked.

In other news...

As part of the conversion of the worn interface and inventory to a newer internal file format, certain items now have clearer right-click options when using them. For example, the amulet of glory now lists the four different destinations it can take you to instead of just saying 'Operate'.

The Game Engine team have made sure the player list is now randomised to prevent priority being given to some players over others because of their IP address.
Is this info regarding IP address still accurate?

What are your sources that say that runescape 2007 staking is still based on ip address? I mean I understand how in the past like back in 2007 this may have been so, but I'm sure with the current oldschool runescape any glitches or flaws in the game that have already been fixed in EOC would have also been fixed and patched in the oldschool runescape to prevent these same glitches and flaws from reoccurring. A question I have to ask : Initially I wanted to have my account more on the PvM side, but then I tried staking and liked it. But then I have trained my Defence to level 12 already, what do I do? I am currently 56 Strength and 40 Attack, Should I still aim for Pure DDSer or is there another class that I could fit into? Would appreciate some replies Smile

As long as you're 1 prayer you're still good.

Ideal build would be 60 att 91 str 30 defence with 85+hp <<< those builds are scary as hell lol
