I've been recently using this strategy and it rocks
I only need to pray for ahrim and karil, no point praying at dharok as he never hits me ^^ great way of doing it.

following this method i got a Dharok's helm today =]

You are wasting money.

using - house altar + canafis portal

i use 0.0 prayer pots most trips. 2 doses if i have dh tunnel

after each chest. house telly, recharge pray, canafis tele, bank, use secret tunnel from myrque quests.

use approx 3-5 sharks - d boots, d legs, dh body, nezzy, blk salamander, harra tar, god cape, cb brace, any ring.

in invent - spade, holy wrench, super def pot, pray pot(4)*2, karils top, karils bottoms, dds, whip, rest sharks.

dh - pray(mele) - mage black sala - karils armour (better mage bonus since praying)
ah - remaining pray(mage) - tank with karil armour if out of prayer - black sala range
karil - remaining pray (att, str, def bonus), mele, super def pot, mele gear from now on
ver, guth, tor - tank - black sala mage

96+6 cb
77 att
78 str
75 def
76 rng
70 mage
60 pray

get 12 kc

make 50-100k profit per chest including subtracting costs just from chest junk.

nice raku, +rep,, anyways remember that the slayer dart is also one of the best way to do barrows. it's simple, quick, and you get basically all the runes u use at the end from the chest lol. you should add that.

The method I use is obviously not the most cost effective way, but it the most time efficeint way, which is why I prefer it.

Slayer dart is a good way of doing it, however you have to use more prayer potions and is therefore less cost and time efficient as you will need to take food with you as well for Karil, and cannot use blood spells to heal yourself.

Great Guide always wanted to know how to mage at barrows. I always use full Verac but I see mages to lots more trips than me and in 1 run so now I know how they do it.

You're welcome, and yes, magic works best because of their very low magic defence. The Ahrim's set is so that you can heal on creatures using blood spells if you need to.

You might want to add that if you forgot your spade, you could kill the zombies (i believe) near the boat for 3gp or 6 gp then talk to the NPC near the tunnels to sell you one.

That's about the same setup I use Myself with the exception of sharks, I prefer Strawberry Baskets. Strawberrys heal 8 ea, and the basket is able to hold 5 stawberrys, Albeit if your in a bind sure the +20 hp from the shark helps out loads, sometimes if i'm feeling lazy i'll just bring some bones to peaches runes and could run forever :-) but meh, it really just boils down to personal prefrencev

It's hard to say as your main profit is reliant on your barrows items loots, that being said I've had luck streaks where i would get an item every 6-7 Chest loots, and then i've had bad luck streaks where i've gone 400+ chests without so much as a lame barrows item..
So if your looking for guaranteed profit I'd look else where. If you like to play a game of chance then barrows is your best bet.

You can't wear Ahrim's with only 45 defence.

I would suggest not to, as some of the creatures have relatively high attack. Best option for a 45 defence pure would by slayer dart + rune.

Ummm, why inf gloves instead of Barrows? Last I checked barrows gloves had higher mage bonus.
